Using the basis of a simple activity that generated revealing research about children’s aspirations in 2016, your growing learners will first annotate a ‘head/heart/bag/feet’ template to consider how they think (head) and feel (heart), what they will take away from primary (bag), and what actions they will take in Year 7 (feet). They will then use a second template to draw who they want to be when they grow up and finally make the connection between their aspirations for Year 7 and their future career aspiration. You can then pass their drawings on to their secondary school.
