This voluntary framework meets the need in England for a framework of desirable learning outcomes from careers, employability and enterprise education – but it could also be useful to schools and colleges in other parts of the UK. The framework presents end of key stage learning outcome statements for learners across 17 important areas of careers, employability and enterprise education grouped under three headings:
- Developing yourself through careers, employability and enterprise education
- Learning about careers and the world of work
- Developing your career management, employability and enterprise skills
