Parents and carers play an important role in young people’s career decision making. Recognising this is essential for the development of effective careers provision and for enhancing awareness of careers education among parents and carers. With the updated Gatsby Benchmarks emphasising greater engagement with parents and carers, it is increasingly important that education settings are engaging with parents and carers as part of their careers programme.
