Advancing Access
Advancing Access is an initiative developed by the 24 Russell Group universities. It is designed to provide free Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for teachers and careers advisers – supporting more of their students to progress to the UK’s most competitive universities. Schools and colleges can take part by:
- Requesting a free CPD session to be delivered in their school or college (topics include supporting students with qualification choices and personal statements, UCAS references and preparing students for interviews)
- Joining the free online and offline events, such as virtual conferences and teacher CPD conferences in schools and colleges
- Using the large online collection of free CPD resources, including resources for both teachers and students.
