Engaging parents in careers guidance: Innovations in practice
Parents and carers play an important part in the careers and education choices of young people. The Gatsby Foundation and The Careers and Enterprise Company have worked with Careers Leaders to explore ideas and good practice for working with parents in these challenging times.
The framework is designed primarily as a tool to support practitioners from across a range of institutions and sectors wishing to develop a programme of activity to increase knowledge and understanding, as well as support progression to higher education.
EmployAbility Leisure is an initiative by Aspire (EmployAbility Leisure) to create more accessible and inclusive training and workplace environments for disabled people in the fitness and leisure sector. The Careerpilot Pathway Planner (PP) is an online tool which provides effective, efficient and targeted personal guidance at three levels to meet the individual needs of Year 11-13 students, using triage and a whole-school, integrated approach.
