This fully resourced unit of work (8 – 10 lessons) is designed for learners in Year 7-8 and explores the world of work through an English lens.
It draws on the best practice and guidance on Careers Strategy for schools and The Gatsby Benchmarks, a framework of eight guidelines that define the best careers provision in schools and colleges.
In particular, this unit will enable secondary English teachers to meet the expectations of Gatsby Benchmark 4, linking the curriculum to careers.
