Futurum Careers: Online Resource and Magazine

The packages of resources include a research project summary, career pathways related to the research project, researcher profile, activity sheet linked to Bloom’s Taxonomy, PowerPoint and animation – all of which are free to download and use in the classroom

This resource is suited to KS4 and 5.

Our ultimate aim is to help students (and support teachers to help students) connect the subjects they are learning with real-world careers in STEM and SHAPE. To this end, we produce packages of resources that include a research project summary, career pathways related to the research project, researcher profile, activity sheet linked to Bloom’s Taxonomy, PowerPoint and animation – all of which are free to download and use in the classroom. The broad range of resources allows for diversified teaching and encourages young people to develop their critical thinking, reflection and evaluation skills. The researcher profiles break down stereotypes and provide young people with access to relatable role models. Teachers and/or students can contact our researchers via our comments board and ask about career options, the research projects and much more. Some institutions we work with offer school visits and work experience opportunities.
