The skills are based on the essential Skills Builder framework and showcases some of the amazing employers we have in the county discussing how they demonstrate employability skills in the workplace. They can be utilised in other areas as the sectors are familiar and national, from construction to public services.
Top tips
- The videos and powerpoints can be used to introduce essential skills and further learning can happen based on the skillsbuilder framework (e.g skills passports).
- The powerpoint and videos are great resources to get students thinking about skills in the workplace which could precede a face to face or live virtual encounter with an employer for a more detailed Q and A.
- This resource could also be used with KS4 SEND students.
