Connect your practical experience with research informed frameworks for understanding the risks to NEEThood and planning effective interventions.

Developed in collaboration with educators and local authority professionals during a three year research study to understand and intervene on Early School leaving across five EU nations, these research-informed tools offer practical and CPD support for professionals working with young people at risk of NEET/Early School Leaving.

This programme is focused on the different stages of transition experienced by young people on the journey from education to the world of work. 

These resources have been developed by South Somerset Partnership to support families of SEND students in understanding what is effective transition and avenues of support.

Talentino programmes have been helping to improve career outcomes for young people with a range of learning difficulties in a mixture of settings – special schools, mainstream schools, AP, PRU, SEMH, etc.

They also provide great opportunities for learning more, through their regular newsletters, annual SEND Careers Conference, and by publishing free resources.

A guide, published by Build UK, setting out the most common routes of entry into construction for young people in England leaving school, including apprenticeships, T Levels and degrees, and how they might suit different employers.

‘FES Connect’ is a national community for Post 16 careers leaders and practitioners, supporting development and sharing of best practice to ensure every learner is supported to find their next best step.

The National Careers Service provides high quality, free and impartial careers advice, information and guidance. The service is available all year round to anyone aged 13+ no matter what stage of the careers journey they are at.

This resource informs staff about where they can send parents to get information about different pathways and could be housed on your staff intranet for easy access.

The Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) have developed a series of guides to support professionals working with children and young people, with the aim of improving their financial wellbeing through good quality financial education.

AutonoMe uses the power of personalised human support combined with technology to enable neurodiverse people and those with learning disabilities to gain employment and develop skills for independent living. 

This is a costed resource with possible funding streams identified.
