This programme is focused on the different stages of transition experienced by young people on the journey from education to the world of work. 

Launch Your Career is a transformational career search and discovery platform, that uses VIRTUAL REALITY to engage and immerse young people on a personalized journey.

This resource is designed to support Careers Leaders and other staff involved in the transition process from Key Stage 2 into Key Stage 3, exploring opportunities to embed careers activities and parental engagement across the full range of transition opportunities.

It takes you through the three phases:

1. Decision making (Y4,5,6) while children and parents /carers are still considering their options
2. Decision made (Y6) once the children have been allocated their secondary school
3. Started (Y7) once the children have started their secondary school.

These resources are taken from the Leicester and Leicestershire Business and Skills Partnership’s Unbox Your Future programme, a reimagined workplace experience model.

This toolkit is intended to be simple to use, helping Careers Leaders and others support and develop youth social action. the resource aims to enable more of their young people to be active citizens in their school or college and wider communities.

• The challenges are all set out day by day with suggested content but can be adapted to suit your students abilities and needs.

• The timings are flexible and can be adapted, if you want to take longer on a particular challenge you can and you can schedule in breaks whenever is convenient.

This resource pack has been developed by DFN Charitable Foundation and Whole School SEND.   The pack provides support, materials and practical tips to teachers and other school-based professionals to secure good transitions and destinations into the next stage of education and/or employment for Key Stage 4 Pupils with SEND.

This brilliant project will take students on a tour around the Hospitality industry, learning about not only what services are classed as hospitality, it's history but what careers and entry level roles are available within the sector.
