Developed by Bam Nuttal this is an employer project which features in the My Skills My Future programme and is around renewable energy.  Targeted at Career SEND Group 2, this activity is suitable for those typically likely to take GCSE or Level 2 equivalent qualifications.  

Developed by Black Country Careers Hub. Here are three resources to support a mainstream setting to audit their careers offer for SEND pupils. Create a SWOT analysis based on the audit, then plan pupil centred interventions to meet the needs of individual pupils.

This programme is focused on the different stages of transition experienced by young people on the journey from education to the world of work. 

These resources have been developed by South Somerset Partnership to support families of SEND students in understanding what is effective transition and avenues of support.

Talentino programmes have been helping to improve career outcomes for young people with a range of learning difficulties in a mixture of settings – special schools, mainstream schools, AP, PRU, SEMH, etc.

They also provide great opportunities for learning more, through their regular newsletters, annual SEND Careers Conference, and by publishing free resources.

Moving on: Student Transitions and Preparing for Adulthood is a pick and mix of different worksheets, activities and guidance to support young people as they transition from school and into adulthood.

AutonoMe uses the power of personalised human support combined with technology to enable neurodiverse people and those with learning disabilities to gain employment and develop skills for independent living. 

This is a costed resource with possible funding streams identified.

This brand new 6-minute film (with British Sign Language interpretation) follows the inspirational stories of apprentices with learning differences, disabilities and health conditions.

Learn how these apprentices are progressing their careers through apprenticeships and the ways that their employers and training providers are supporting them.

Developed by Inspiring Worcestershire. Passport to Retail has been designed with the student’s progression at the forefront. This brilliant project will take students on a tour around the Retail industry, learning about key areas from customer services to stock rotation to build their knowledge and skill in preparation for the workplace.
