A resource for training providers to give an overview of careers education in England, raise awareness of the value of the Gatsby Benchmarks and share examples of practice from across the sector.

Thomas Pocklington Trust (TPT) has a range of useful resources for careers leaders and practitioners working with blind and partially sighted students in mainstream secondary schools and colleges.

These resources have been developed by RICS - Nationwide. They provide opportunities for students to learn about the myriad roles within the surveying sector. They encourage students to think about the day-to-day of a surveyor and the requisite skills. They also encourage students to think about their own current skills and how they might develop these to pursue a role in surveying. Pathways to becoming a surveyor are shared.

Interpreting the Gatsby Benchmarks and Compass Completion Guidance (Updated 2021)

The guidance takes Middle School Careers Leaders through how to respond to the sub benchmark questions when completing your self-evaluation on Compass or Compass+.

To support Careers Leaders with impact evaluation, we have created a guidance document on ‘How to write your own survey questions’. 

The National Careers Service provides high quality, free and impartial careers advice, information and guidance. The service is available all year round to anyone aged 13+ no matter what stage of the careers journey they are at.
