Funded by DCMS and led by industry, the Discover Creative Careers website is an online portal packed with information, resources and events to help young people explore roles in the creative industries. Starting with an interactive careers finder tool connecting to more than 520 job profiles and an opportunity directory of events, resources, skills competitions, virtual work experience and more.
Engineering Skills Development - Teacher CPD
This is a CPD tool designed for teachers. It explores a basic understanding of what engineering thinking is and how it links to design thinking. The resource is broken down into:

Examples of good practice on access to schools for education and training providers
Through the Skills and Post-16 Education Act 2022, the Department for Education (DfE) strengthened the provider access legislation to specify that schools must provide at least six encounters for all their pupils, during school years 8-13.
To support schools and providers, the DfE has compiled a collection of good practice examples and case studies of how the statutory duty applies in practice to enable schools and providers to understand the new legal requirements.

Talking Futures: Career Adviser Parents' Meeting
An activity which builds on students’ first one-to-one meeting with the Careers Adviser, with a second meeting between the Careers Adviser, the student and their parents.
Talking Futures: Employer Panel
A Q&A session with a panel of employers to encourage parents to explore careers relating to a particular subject, skill or industry area with their child.
Talking Futures: Action Planning
A low-pressure session where families complete the Family action plan or Pathway planner with support from school or college staff.
