Inspiring Worcestershire Careers Hub have developed a number of resources for SEND as part of the work in the SEND Community of Practice.

On this page you will find resources developed by the East Sussex Careers Hub to support people working with young people with SEND. Some of these are featured as content in the My Skills My Future programme.

Access a free-to-use online platform that hosts all the tools you need to build the eight essential skills as outlined by the Skills Builder.

Students will work in small teams to complete a wide range of tasks in order to stage the biggest and best festival ever! Working alongside leading practitioners, a series of free resources, lesson plans, films and activities have been created to bust the myths surrounding careers in the creative sector and provide a wider understanding of the less traditional, yet in-demand, roles.

Access free online interactive resources, ready-made lessons and work experience opportunities – and build them into your progressive careers programme.

Developed by the Inspiring Worcestershire Careers Hub team this activity has been designed to accompany activities around raising aspirations along with exploring career choices for SEND students.

Developed by the team in the Black Country Careers Hub this resource uses widgets to raise awareness of different career options for young people with SEND. This resource features in the My Skills My Future programme. 

This well-known resource can be used to help contextualise the world of work alongside curriculum study – and support young people in making informed decisions.

This toolkit is intended to be simple to use, helping Careers Leaders and others support and develop youth social action. the resource aims to enable more of their young people to be active citizens in their school or college and wider communities.

This programme has been collated from resources across our partners and network to support young people with SEND under the 2 groups identified in the SEND toolkit. It contains lessons around employability skill development , employer projects and engagement videos all to support young people in their next steps.

This resource is part of the My Skills My Future programme and contains a slide deck and teacher guide. Resources are also included for those young people who are considering University as an option.
