Transition booklet for SEND school/college

Futurum Careers is a free online resource and magazine aimed at introducing 14-19-year-olds worldwide to the world of work in STEM (science, tech, engineering, maths, medicine) and SHAPE (social sciences, humanities and the arts for people and the economy). We collaborate with academics all over the world and translate their research into education and careers resources that can be used in the classroom, at home and in STEM and SHAPE clubs.

The Parents’ Guide to provides parents with the information they need to help their teenage children make the right choices to create successful futures after GCSE and sixth form. We provide schools and colleges with a range of resources designed to support your parents/carers with relevant, unbiased and up-to-date guidance. 

Parents and carers play an important part in the careers and education choices of young people. The Gatsby Foundation and The Careers and Enterprise Company have worked with Careers Leaders to explore ideas and good practice for working with parents in these challenging times.

This is the first resource in our Supporting Employers: Working with Young People with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) collection.

It will take you through what the SEND education and Careers Landscape look like and give you an understanding around the world of SEND.
