Tees Valley Careers Hub organised industry insight days for teachers, aligned with the region’s key growth sectors, to help them explore how their subject areas connect to real-world careers and industry demands. A suite of supporting resources is available.

On this page you will find resources developed by the East Sussex Careers Hub to support people working with young people with SEND. Some of these are featured as content in the My Skills My Future programme.

Working with small children is a big deal.

Developed by the Department for Education as part of the ‘Do Something BIG, work with small children’ campaign, this resource includes information for young people on all areas of early years and childcare work, the different routes into the sector and real-life stories.  

This resource has been collated by Green Corridor College to support understanding around jobs for young people in SEND group 1 and is part of the My Skills My Future programme.

Funded by DCMS and led by industry, the Discover Creative Careers website is an online portal packed with information, resources and events to help young people explore roles in the creative industries. Starting with an interactive careers finder tool connecting to more than 520 job profiles and an opportunity directory of events, resources, skills competitions, virtual work experience and more.

Developed in partnership with Amazing Apprenticeships,  this digital resource is designed for Careers Leaders and teachers to raise awareness of apprenticeships and technical pathways through careers-specific sessions.

Digdata’s FREE Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 resources, developed with leading UK employers like GSK, NHS, Experian, National Highways, CACI and Meta, link curriculum learning directly to careers. 

Destination STEM is a NEW dedicated STEM careers website for 13-19-year-olds curious to explore exceptional opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), boost their skills, and hear from industry experts. 

Use this example to plan out how to collect data, follow the correct procedures, and analyse and report on the destination data itself.

The purpose of this curriculum audit tool is to enable a whole institution view of where, throughout the curriculum,  knowledge is being delivered and evidence is being gathered against the Universal career related learning outcomes.
