The University of London Careers Service have developed a new free, impartial and accurate online careers course resource for school and college students (aged 16-18), to help them learn more and make good, well-informed career decisions about their post-18 careers options.

Developed by Black Country Careers Hub and Cadent gas Cornerstone Employer.

These videos can be accessed by neuro-diverse pupils to inspire them to be what they what to be and challenge those stereotypes.

T Levels are a qualification choice that will follow GCSEs and give students a head start towards the career they want. They will suit students who wish to start working towards a skilled occupation, prefer a practical approach to learning and want a predominantly classroom-based course.

Students can explore hundreds of careers with up to date labour market information. Free and inspiring careers talks and the opportunity to interact and engage with the top employers in the UK.

Plug in and play lessons and films to shine a light on the green energy sector, inclusive and accessible. We show children, people that look and sound like them, doing jobs they don’t know exist.

This resource was developed by Changing Education to shine a spotlight on different sectors in a quick and easy to use way.

These resources have been developed by RICS - Nationwide. They provide opportunities for students to learn about the myriad roles within the surveying sector. They encourage students to think about the day-to-day of a surveyor and the requisite skills. They also encourage students to think about their own current skills and how they might develop these to pursue a role in surveying. Pathways to becoming a surveyor are shared.

The Black Country Careers Hub have developed a number of resources to support those working with young people with SEND in the different settings.  Many of these resources are featured in the My Skills My Future programme. 

Developed by VTCT (Vocational Training Charitable Trust), these resources will inform those considering a career in Beauty Therapy, Hairdressing or Barbering industries and their parents/guardians of the options available to them and the opportunities for their future career.

My Employment Passport, winner of the CDI's Post-16 Career Programme of the Year 2022, is a 30-module course that raises the employment aspirations for young people with additional needs whilst inspiring their teachers, tutors, supporters, parents, and future employers too.
