Passport to Digital has been designed with the student’s progression at the forefront. This brilliant project will take students on a tour around the digital industry, learning about key areas from digital communication to cyber security to build their knowledge and skill in preparation for the workplace.

 

We have collated key resource and support for you to ensure that you can effectively support students to navigate application and recruitment processes and make effective transitions to their best next steps. 

Created by the London team this resource supports thinking around virtual experiences of the workplace for schools and businesses. 

Developed by the Inspiring Worcestershire Careers Hub team, this activity will enable SEND students to begin to learn how to research information regarding different job roles of interest to them.

Developed by Black Country Careers Hub.  This resource gives ideas of how you can be more inclusive during specific career activities including reasonable adjustments.  

These resources have been developed by South Somerset Partnership to support families of SEND students in understanding what is effective transition and avenues of support.

Talentino programmes have been helping to improve career outcomes for young people with a range of learning difficulties in a mixture of settings – special schools, mainstream schools, AP, PRU, SEMH, etc.

A sensory pack of career lesson ideas for PMLD Learners for them to explore the world of work. The suite of lesson ideas focuses on the experience gained through completing activities as opposed to the “end product” that is produced. It focuses upon developing children’s communication, engagement and experiences of the world of work.

These resources have been developed by North Tyneside Learning Trust as part of a transition project. Based on four growth areas a vocational box has been created for download.
