A great resource for your Parents Evenings and Newsletters! Careermag for Parents, Carers and Guardians is a publication with information for parents of school-aged children offering support and information on careers and qualifications. 

It also includes information on how to help support young people with mental health issues, managing the UCAS system, apprenticeships and in-depth features on various sectors and opportunities in them.

Amazing Apprenticeships is a leading organisation in the education sector, working with schools, colleges and employers, tackling misconceptions and promoting the benefits of apprenticeships and technical education.

They work closely with the Department for Education and a wide range of other partners and stakeholder organisations in England and internationally, to ensure that more individuals and businesses can access the benefits of apprenticeships.

Developed by Solihull Careers Hub. This resource is parent’s/carer’s simple guide to education, training and employment pathways for those with SEND.

Talentino programmes have been helping to improve career outcomes for young people with a range of learning difficulties in a mixture of settings – special schools, mainstream schools, AP, PRU, SEMH, etc.

They also provide great opportunities for learning more, through their regular newsletters, annual SEND Careers Conference, and by publishing free resources.

A career transition programme for students moving from primary into secondary school, or for delivery during Year 6.

This Employer Prospectus was developed by Featherstone High School to give employers and education/training providers an overview of opportunities for engagement in the upcoming academic year.

The Employer Prospectus is uploaded to the school's dedicated careers webpage, and printed copies are also distributed after events at the school.
