Any career development journey will present us with transitions, which can be a vulnerable time. Primary School students transitioning to Secondary school in 2022 will have had an unprecedented couple of years which have, unsurprisingly, led to increased levels of anxiety and a feeling of trepidation for some about their immediate and long-term future. Parents are also feeling the strain. Our programme is inclusive of parent and carer needs, supports teachers and aims to build confidence, teach resilience, explore positive mindsets and introduce students to the world of careers and career development to help them feel positive about their next step.
The programme includes the following:
- A webinar for classroom use
- Extensive teacher resources which partner the webinar
- 6 Podcasts for parents and students to listen to at home, which can also/instead be used in school
- A Bullet Journal for students to complete, which partners the podcasts
- A Parent Pack which partners the podcasts.
