Animal Adaptations - STEM subject activities
Animal Adaptions is a collection of practical STEM subject activities linked to employability skills.
Pupils look at how animals have adapted to cope with all sorts of conditions. They explore communication strategies, travel, camouflage and life in challenging settings, and look at the way humans can learn from animals.
Aspire: Information and advice to help post-16 students understand their university, further education and career options
Launched by the social mobility charity upReach, Aspire was created to encourage state school students all over the UK to aim high and broaden their career horizons. Aimed at Year 12 and 13 students, these resources provide detailed information about a wide range of career options that students from lower socio-economic backgrounds may have limited exposure to through existing networks.

How could we augment ourselves? is a collection of practical STEM subject activities linked to employability skills and careers. Students will consider how amazing the human body is and look at how it could be adapted. The activities explore how science and engineering can be used to augment humans, from using nutrition to improve brain functionality to exploring wing designs to make humans fly.
