10X Challenge

During the challenge young people are given a £10 investment to start their business and sell their product or service, independently or in a team, entering the weekly and national competitions and win great prizes along the way. Competing against teams and individuals across the UK, young people are encouraged to develop their confidence and creativity, as well as gain first-hand experience of becoming an entrepreneur.

The programme is available in English and Welsh, this is a highly interactive and fun way for young people to apply their academic learning, develop employability skills and build career readiness, using real money and business experience.  The programme supports the National Curriculum and four purposes of the Curriculum for Wales to develop enterprising young people with healthy money habits.

We offer £50-£500 funding per school for the £10 pledge. Ready-to-teach resources are accessible all year round to successfully guide young people through the programme and to help prepare for next year’s challenge and competitions.
