This presentation template has been designed to stimulate students’ thinking about their education and career options and the support available to help them make informed decisions. This presentation is fully editable and you are able to create shorter versions of the presentation, by deleting sections, to suit the audience and the time you have available. It also includes a film covering the important role their parents can play in their decision-making.
The first part of the presentation is suitable for all ages and is worth delivering to students from Year 7 onwards to begin considering their future options ahead of facing key decision points. It can be combined with your existing student careers materials and used in an assembly or tutor time, or as an introduction to other activities. To encourage students to share what they have learnt with their parents the second part of the presentation includes a homework task aimed at Key Stage 3-4 students.
