AIM: Introduce teachers and tutors to their role in supporting parent and carer engagement with Apprenticeship and Technical Education and resources to build confidence and awareness. This, one page, resource outlines a minimum commitment to making Apprenticeship and Technical Education part of the conversation and includes the following: 

  • A clear outline of the rationale behind making Apprenticeship and Technical Education part of the conversation with parents and carers and their role in this. 
  • A framework of suggested first steps. 
  • Signposting to the accompanying resources and information to help them to feel more confident in taking their next steps.
